After nearly two decades in the staffing industry, Kathleen Quinn Votaw determined that traditional staffing/recruiting models weren’t working, especially for rapidly growing companies. She vowed to disrupt the status quo by revolutionizing how companies find, keep, and grow great people. As founder and CEO of TalenTrust, she has devoted her passion and energy to providing actionable advice about talent to companies nationwide.
Itself a model of successful growth, TalenTrust, achieved 300% revenue growth for several years running and was named to the Inc. 5000 list for high-growth companies in 2015 and 2016. TalenTrust is a testament to both the need for change and to Kathleen’s industry leadership. Serving as a strategic partner, the TalenTrust team continues to serve many on the Inc. 5000 list.
Prior to founding TalenTrust in 2003, Kathleen worked at Kelly Corporation and CDI Corporation, where she grew the company’s Today’s Staffing Division 50 percent by turning major clients like Great West Life into $20+ million accounts. She also advised some of the country’s highest profile organizations, among them: John Hancock, MIT, Harvard, Lotus and BioGen.
Kathleen is the author of Solve the People Puzzle: How High-Growth Companies Attract & Retain top Talent. She writes a published monthly column and speaks frequently to CEOs about trends in talent and how to be strategic in selecting and developing their people. She has won numerous honors and awards and has served on several boards.
